Description: Some recipes are memories wrapped in flavor. Jaggery Roti, or gud roti, is one such timeless delight. It’s the kind of dish that takes you back to childhood winters in India, when grandmothers would roll out rotis glistening with ghee and oozing with melted jaggery, filling the home with a fragrance that could make anyone smile. This festive season, we bring you a richer, purer version, made with the wholesome goodness of Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta. In Indian tradition, jaggery is considered auspicious and is often used in offerings during pujas, including harvest festivals like Makar Sankranti and Onam. Its earthy sweetness pairs perfectly with the nutty aroma of freshly ground chakki atta, creating a treat that’s both indulgent and nourishing.
