Ingredients

    • 1 cup Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta
    • ½ cup melted butter
    • ¼ cup brown sugar
    • 1 cup chopped pecans
    • ¾ cup jaggery syrup or maple syrup
    • ¼ cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoons milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt.

 

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine atta, butter, and brown sugar to form a crumbly dough. Press it into the pan and bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  • In a saucepan, heat jaggery syrup, sugar, milk, and salt. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Stir in chopped pecans and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust and return to the oven for 20 minutes.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars.
