Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta
  • 1 ½ cups grated carrots
  • 1 cup honey
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • Mix Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg powder in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the grated carrots and chopped walnuts if using.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
