Ingredients

  • Heat ghee in a kadai or heavy-bottomed pan on medium flame.
  • Add Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta and roast it until golden brown, stirring frequently to ensure even cooking.
  • In another pot, bring water to a boil.
  • Slowly pour the boiling water into the roasted Atta, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
  • Add sugar to the mixture, stirring until it dissolves completely.
  • Cook the mixture on low flame, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a halwa-like consistency.
  • Garnish with chopped nuts and a sprinkle of cardamom powder.
  • Serve warm and relish the comforting flavors of Kada Prasad with your loved ones.

Method

  • Pour 1 cup of Hathi Brand 100% Whole Wheat Chakki Atta into a wide, thick-bottomed pan or kadai.
  • Place the pan/kadai over low to medium-low heat and start roasting the atta.
  • Stir continuously without breaks to ensure the atta roasts evenly and turns golden brown.
  • Keep roasting until the color changes and you notice a nutty aroma from the flour. This should take around 7 minutes on low heat.
  • Add the melted ghee to the roasted atta and mix well for 3 more minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and add coarsely crushed mixed nuts to the mixture.
  • Set this mixture aside and let it cool.
